I wonder how much time you are "investing" in OTHERS. We have a Master Club Ministry which includes K4-6th Grade (and we even have some older kids that just enjoy the program) and the program is on a TUESDAY night! Not on Wednesday night while Bible Study and Prayer time are going on; not on SUNDAY Evening, while the Sunday Evening service is going on; no, it is on a TUESDAY night! We run a bus and a van and have 12-16 or more adults that come out and "INVEST" in the lives of young kids who need to be reached with the Gospel. If someone does not reach these kids, many will follow in their parents footsteps and will continue to live destructive lives. But we want to show these boys and girls the love of Christ. We want to "INVEST" in them, we want them to grow up knowing the love of Jesus and that there are people who are actually more interested in THEM than they are themselves. This world is so "self-consumed" - worrying only about "SELF" instead of being concerned about their eternal destiny.
What about you? Who are you investing in? Where do you spend your time? Who will look back when you are gone and say, "So-and-so, really invested their time in loving me." What legacy will you leave behind? What impact will you have on the "NEXT" generation? Will it be any better? Will the time that you spent on this earth be seen in future generations? Or, will you pass on and simply be forgotten?
I challenge you. Why not find someone to "INVEST" your time, talents, and treasures in, to make someone's life a better life and allow the love of Christ to be seen in you!
