About Us

The Olive Branch Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church, over 160 years old, located in Linton, Indiana. Our church is located approximately 40 miles from Terre Haute, 40 miles from Bloomington, and 30 miles from Crane Naval Weapons Station.  Our church is easily accessible from anywhere in the Southwestern part of Indiana. Our church facilities include a beautiful sanctuary, gymnasium, and complete with a cemetery.

There are more than 15,000 independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.

Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church.

At the Olive Branch Baptist Church, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, the church is also the home of a wonderful Tuesday Night program held from August to March of each school year, called Master Clubs. The focus of Master Clubs is reaching boys and girls in the community for Christ, while training them to be servants for the Master.
